Ben Bojko

Creative Developer

Ben has been working with code and animation since middle school. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Wired, USA Today and Huffington Post, and has won awards and recognition from Apple, Communications Arts, and IAB. As a creative developer, he is skilled at combining design and technology.

Ben began his career in Berlin at argonautenG2, a digital agency specializing in Flash, where he worked on animation projects for Coca-Cola and Volkswagen. He then made the move to Brooklyn to work at Big Spaceship, where he worked his way up to Associate Technical Director. At Big Spaceship Ben expanded his skill set beyond animation projects, working directly with collaborators to develop a Ken Burns iPhone app, a 20ft LED wall for Google, and the Finish Line mobile app.

Ben moved on to the role Project Lead at Potion Design, working for large nonprofit clients solidifying his knowledge of Flash, iOS, and Cinder.

Ben was born and raised in Cologne, Germany, with a two-year reprise in Houston, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science with Honors in International Media and Computing at HTW Berlin. He is an amateur astrophysicist and an avid hackathon participant. His entry in the HackTheDinos hackathon at the American Museum of Natural History won the audience favorite, and as an added bonus, he got to live out his dream of sleeping next to the dinosaur fossils in the museum.
