CreativeMornings with Dan Mall

Learning from each other is part of every CreativeMornings event. What better way to celebrate that than to explore December’s theme: Education.

About the Speaker
Dan Mall is a designer and advisor from Philly who’s worked with clients like Google, Apple, ESPN, Time Inc, Lucasfilm, Microsoft, and GE. He’s the founder of SuperFriendly, a design collaborative that brings exquisite creative direction & design to organizations with the most complex problems involving people, content, and devices. Dan takes pride in his ability to articulate and communicate ideas. He’s written for notable publications like A List Apart and .NET Magazine. Right at home in front of a number of audiences, he’s led client meetings, training sessions and workshops, and presentations to large groups at conferences like SXSW, An Event Apart, and Future of Web Design. Most recently, Dan taught advertising at the Miami Ad School, web and graphic design at the University of the Arts, and Flash at the School of Visual Arts.

For the last 2 years, Dan has been silently running an apprenticeship for aspiring designers and developers. He’ll share a few observations on teaching and learning in different environments and how to create the right atmosphere for it. Come ready with some questions for his former and current apprentices.

We hope to see you bright and early!
