Laura is a graphic designer at Bluecadet whose research-based work aspires to engender positive cultural change.
Thoughtful research and artistic sensitivity help Laura use graphic design to make a positive impact on social groups and cultural organizations. Although she’s long been interested in visual anthropology and the culture of objects, Laura didn’t decide to pursue graphic design seriously until she won a Matt Damon drawing contest. Her personal work has since evolved beyond celebrity portraiture to investigate the relationship between people and products by reimagining and repurposing cultural artifacts.
Laura earned her BFA in Graphic Design from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University.
