As Managing Director of Bluecadet, Rebecca Sherman plays an integral role in driving company growth while fostering productive, longstanding relationships with both clients and staff.
Rebecca has a hand in every aspect of Bluecadet’s operations, business strategy, and client engagement, from building and sustaining a stellar team to guiding projects from concept to completion. Combining a passion for social justice with a background in digital media, Rebecca excels at helping organizations leverage digital technology to achieve their goals.
Since joining Bluecadet in 2008, Rebecca has produced a variety of interactive media projects including websites, mobile apps, and touchscreen experiences, and her work has been recognized by the Webbys, SXSW, AAM, HOW Magazine, and Communication Arts. She has facilitated Bluecadet’s exceptional growth from five to 50 employees while serving as a hands-on project manager for distinguished clients including the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Harvard Graduate School of Design, Vital Voices, Doctors Without Borders, PolicyLab at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and The Franklin Institute. She works closely with clients to define their objectives and implement the best digital strategies for their success.
Rebecca graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Sociology. Prior to joining Bluecadet, she mobilized community members and artists as a project manager for the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and spent a year working in India on mother-child health initiatives. She is happy to have found a home at Bluecadet, creating a vibrant workplace for the company’s ever-growing staff and collaborating with organizations that promote positive change around the world.
