Front End Developer (Contract)

Job Summary

Bluecadet is looking for someone who loves front end work — the challenge and reward of writing solid, accessible markup, composing good CSS, injecting motion and animation to bring sites to life, and making experiences work across multiple browsers and devices.

This is a six-month paid contract position based in our Philadelphia office, although our team will be fully remote through at least June 2021. Fully remote candidates will also be considered.

Our developers collaborate closely with our design and content teams, helping the team find the best solutions for the project goals. They have a commitment to accessible and inclusive products, and love balancing performance, ease of use, and beauty in what they build. Our work spans a wide spectrum: concept prototypes, front end style guides/design systems, CMS-driven websites, and interactive applications for spatial and experiential projects in physical space.

Our ideal candidate is curious, capable, open-minded, and a generous teammate. Our team is made up of a diverse group of folks who took different paths to the roles they hold today. If your experience doesn’t quite match what we’ve described, please apply anyway! People of color, women, and LGBTQ candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
