Project Coordinator

Job Summary

Bluecadet is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our NYC office as a Project Coordinator. This role works in support of the producer(s) to track and dispense all of the information the various team members need to do their jobs effectively. Ultimately, the project coordinator’s duties are to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget and meet high-quality standards. The Project Coordinator should be able to work both alongside other producers and autonomously on 3-5 projects simultaneously.

Job Details

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages, and tracks production schedules and budgets.
  • Monitors project progress, budget, hours, etc. and reports status to producers and management as required.
  • Arranges for internal and client meetings, distributing team reminders and materials.
  • Prepares for meetings, including creating agendas.
  • Takes notes and distributes to the team, and follows up on action items.
  • Documents project approach and scope details.
  • Creates task lists for team members.
  • Tracks project tasks assigned to team members and ensures work is completed on time.
  • Organizes and tracks project assets as needed (content, sitemaps, technical information, etc.).
  • Tracks project to-dos and help organize the project using our software systems (Basecamp, 10,000ft, GitHub/ZenHub, Gantt charts, etc.).
  • Ensures work delivered meets company quality standards and has gone through quality assurance tests and internal review processes.
  • Support team members as needed to help them get their work done.
  • Corresponds with clients.
  • Develops deliverables for clients, such as presentations and manuals.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
