Monticello App brings home an AAM MUSE Award

The American Alliance of Museums has been bringing museums together since 1906, helping to develop standards and best practices, gathering and sharing knowledge, and providing advocacy on issues of concern to the entire museum community.

Representing more than 30,000 individual museum professionals and volunteers, institutions, and corporate partners serving the museum field, the Alliance stands for the broad scope of the museum community.

This year fifty-five awards were handed out at the 2016 AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo in Washington, DC and Bluecadet is honored to have been recognized. We were awarded a Bronze in the Mobile Apps category for our work with with the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation on their Slavery at Monticello: Life and Work on Mulberry Row app as well as being named as an honorable mention in the Interpretive Interactive Installations category for our work with The Art Institute of Chicago for Van Gogh’s Bedroom’s.
