National World War II Museum

Transforming a website from a basic tool to a leading voice on everything World War II

The National World War II Museum is much more than a physical location, and it’s reach is far beyond just the ticketed museum visitor. The Museum’s old website, however, was geared solely toward logistics – hours, ticket prices, and directions.

Bluecadet worked with the Museum to transform their web presence into a tool that matches the breadth of what the Museum actually does. The new site has enhanced utility and serves as a publishing platform for curators and historians (including content from the Museum’s newly-launched Institute for the Study of War and Democracy). The site allows The Museum’s diverse audience groups (veterans, families, scholars, students) to connect and engage and positions the Museum as a leading voice on all things World War II.
