The Independence Visitor Center is the first stop in Philadelphia for 2.5 million tourists each year.
Bluecadet’s experiential master plan aimed to improve the IVC experience for that existing foot traffic, attract new visitors, and strengthen the IVC’s business to accommodate future growth.
Our overarching spatial strategy resulted in an expanded gift shop and a new event space that generate additional revenue for IVC. Cleaner branding deployed to signage and wayfinding, a redesigned website, interactive touchscreens, and a custom film eliminated the confusion of the old space and enhance the new visitor experience.
Visitors to Philadelphia now have an innovative and intuitive home base, and IVC has a healthier business with which to serve them.
