Philadelphia Phillies
To coincide with the 2026 season, the Philadelphia Phillies embarked on a full redesign of their The Hall of Fame Club at Citizens Bank Park, by reimagining its physical space and amplifying the fan experience. To help realize the Phillies' vision and complement the exhibition design by Jack Porter, Bluecadet produced two interactive media experiences.
During the offseason, we designed, developed, prototyped, built, and installed two interactives and surrounding casework, to elevate seven one-of-a-kind championship rings, and invited fans to experience them up-close and in detail.
Wearing a piece of history
Although getting to sport a real championship ring wasn’t an option for fans here, the AR experience that we designed got close. In this interactive, visitors can choose one of the seven historic rings, place their hand into the experience, and see the ring, in all of its dazzling glory, on their finger.
The magic of this experience sparks when visitors instantly get to see the ring perfectly placed on their own hand – at scale and without the need for a phone. For the ring imagery, we commissioned a jewelry designer to create detailed models that we then rendered and textured.
To achieve the “right fit” for visitors, we also prioritized prototyping, iterative testing, and rigorous QA, to perfect image scaling (to keep the sizing true-to-life), hand-tracking, and lighting, to account for differences in hand movement, skin tones, and sizes.
Getting an inside look
Showcasing the small but mighty championship rings like fans had never seen was a top priority for the touchscreen explorer. Visitors can choose a ring to explore (ranging from a 1950 edition to 2022) and then zoom into every diamond, carving, detail, and scratch – and uncover stories behind them.
To capture the finer points of the rings, we photographed them in 360 degrees, using a turntable and a macro lens. This approach enabled us to preserve each ring’s distinctive authenticity.
